Well, after six months of on-and-off viewing, I finally finished Cowboy Bebop this afternoon. And I loved it. It's prolly one of the best I've seen. Yeah, and now I'm sad it's over... like I was with Full Metal Panic, Gunslinger Girl, and Strawberry Eggs. *Sniff* Oh well. At least I have Full Metal Alchemist and Trigun on the way. If you have any suggestions as to what else to watch, drop me a line.

TAKS blows, but seeing as how most, if not all, of you who will read this will have also taken it, so the topic of this post lies elsewhere... During lunch.

I'll begin with a quote (As best as I remember it):

The topic of that conversation wasn't important, but it was something slightly personal. What got me... disturbed... was that a few years ago, I wouldn't think twice about a statement like that. I'd have brushed t off saying, "well, you'd have to be one of the guys to understand the bond that we all share." Now, however, I'm not so sure. I thought that to be one of the "guys" was to understand each other to the point of knowing how someone is feeling before they start talking, and then knowing what they're going to say.So, I pose a group group question:

Is Alyssa wrong or right? Not just in regards to Pat and Niems, but about all of us.

So, Saturday. I spent the day at the mall with two of my friends. Chris, and Mike Dalton. I haven't seen Dalton in several years, so that was really cool. He picked me and Chris up around noon, and then we went to Tilt for some ddr. Dalton owns at ddr. No... sorry. He pwns. Yeah. He's awesome. And he tells me that he has a setup at his house with two metal pads. I'm thinkin "Sweet..." So, then, we go down to Barnes and Noble. We look at some manga, and I see some that I think look cool. Then Chris notices what I'm looking at, and he says one word. "Yaoi." I then walk away. Then, we went to Hot Topic and basically killed a little bit of time. I bough a sweet sweat band for meh wrist. The nintendo one. Says "Keep It Real", which I could do without, but whatever. We see The Thriller come up to us, and I talk to him about the lack of glass in front of his eyes. He explains that he's getting contacts. We then go to play some Lunar Mini Golf, which was cool. We just basically screwed around. We played the hole with the loop a ton of times. That was fun. I won a prize for the last hole, but it fell apart on the way home, and I couldn't find the light part. We watched Man on Fire after that (Great Movie... actually has a plot. I liked it), and went down to Tilt for some more games. Dalton and I played ddr togather, him on Heavy and me on Standard. We played Paranoia Survivor, I think, for the last one. We both failed. I had no clue what I was going to be in for. Never perfomed too terribly well in the arcade anyways... Then, we went home. Bryan came by later and picked me up. We met Niems at Cici's. They had told me to call Chris. Never said anything about Layton... Hmm... I called Chris. Nobody said anything about Layton. I don't know why he's mad at me, when I wasn't the one who was told to call him... Hmmm... Anyways. We got coffee at the StarBucks that was across the parking lot. That was cool. Then, Bryan and I followed Niems home, blaring rap music out of open windows. They kept trying to pass each other. It was fun. So, when we were plling into Niems' street (Rather noisely, I might add), Bryan and I noticed a cop parked across the street. "SHIT" We both exclaimed. Bryan quickly cut the music and pulled into Niemi's driveway and waited for a bit. By the time we left, the cop was gone. Thank God. Then, we went to Bryan's house, checked out his speakers, and then he drove me home. Now, Sunday night, I have to write my english paper. Outline. Whatever. Damn it.

Vegas was pretty... gaudy... I don't want to say that I didn't have a good time... because I had a couple of "good times". The time in between those, however, left something to be desired. I saw an awesome magic act... (Steve Wyrick) and the Hoover Dam, plus I got to witness the cool Treasure Island show. But the other parts were just either eating or walking/driving around. It was... Okay...
